Common questions

My season feels wrong. A daylight retake usually resolves close-call reads. The photo step's "Confidence" pill tells you how confident the read is — Mixed/Low means a retake will likely help. You can also browse all 12 seasons under Compare seasons in Settings.
How accurate is Tonebook? Most photo-based color reads land within a single season family. A small slice will read between two adjacent seasons — that's why we always tell you the confidence and the closest neighbor. See "How accurate is this?" inside the app for full details.
How do I cancel my subscription? iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Tonebook → Cancel. Or open Tonebook → Settings → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period.
What happens to my photo? By default, your photo never leaves your device — Tonebook ships in mock mode. If you turn on "Use live AI" in Settings, the photo is sent to our edge function for analysis and NOT retained on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my data? Settings → Delete my saved report and photo. This wipes consent state, onboarding answers, all saved reports, and entitlement cache.
Can I get a refund? Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com within 90 days of purchase.
